Roll With It!

I carry a marble in my pocket.  If I don’t have one, it’s probably because I gave it to someone.  I give away marbles on a regular bases.  Why?  Because if I give my marbles away, nobody can accuse me of losing them!  Okay, that’s not the main reason.

I usually carry a black and white marble.  The marble reminds me, sometimes things that should be “black and white” appear mixed up.  In those situations, I just need to do what is right, and roll with it!  This allows me to have the confidence to relax and not stress about the outcome.  I trust my decision and I give it over to God.  It’s not my job to make things happen.  It’s my job to do what’s right and trust God for what comes next.

I have plenty of multi-colored marbles.  So, the next time we meet, ask, and I will gladly give you a marble as a reminder to Roll With It!  (AND, if I end up give away all my marbles, nobody can accuse me of losing them!)

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me something to remind me You are in control, You are very fond of me, You have my best interest at heart, and to just trust You and roll with it.

Do you worry about things that aren’t really in your control?  What do you do to keep from stressing about those things?  Share your thoughts and ideas in the comment area.

Thank you for sharing this bit of wisdom with us. i was just looking at the marble you gave me and thinking how timely and valuable the lesson was for me. Your investment of a few minutes and one shooter marble has paid time and again as i’m able to adjust my perspective and warn others about our responsibility in the undertow of the day to day that leads to the ‘end of quarter’….. well… you know.. Bless you!
